Made by Kewsi Asante of Kumasi, Ghana this beautiful wood carved alligator altar is constructed from a single piece of wood, carved by hand and intricately adorned with carved engravings. The stool features a lustrous, dark, hand rubbed finish and two magnificently carved crossed alligators. The alligators are not only a beautiful piece of artwork but also a symbol representing unity and diversity as the two crossed alligators share one stomach of unity and two heads and tails indicating diversity. This piece is rich in detail, workmanship and beauty. A wonderful addition to any room of the home and a perfect, highly unique altar. Handmade, wood carved, Imported from Ghana.
