To open or (break) your Geode simply place within an old sock or other type of covering, using a hammer hit your enclosed geode firmly with a hammer aiming for the center of the geode. Take care not to hit your fingers and be sure to use an old sock or other type of covering as it will probably get a hole or two in it. After hitting or breaking open the Geode empty your sock on a table, floor or into a container to view and see what mystery has been revealed to you.
