Eggspectations & Hampster Honey's!
February 26, 2009
Winter is slowly passing and the days are growing a bit longer here in the northern region of the hemisphere. We are beginning to get small glimpses of the brown tattered grass between patches of snow and ice that have covered it for several months and the sight is refreshing, as much as winters glow sparks the imagination and brings about a stir deep in the soul so to does the returning of the grass, plants and leaves on the trees. Though much of this will still take a month or so before it develops into full fruitation, it is pleasing to the eyes and senses to see the future potential of what will eventually pop from beneath the heavy blanket that now hides it from full view. For those of you who where wondering about the progress we made on our New Years resolution to post those cartons of products in our storage area, I must say we have failed to meet our goal as here it is already the end of February and the task has still not been fulfilled. There is of course ample opportunity to get the job done during the month of March so really we have not failed completely as we set no firm date by which we planned to conquer the task and the New Year has only just begun. Again, time will tell and we will all have to exhibit a bit more patients concerning the matter. A few things of interest here at White Witch Wares is the arrival of fertilized hatching eggs which are currently incubating and expected to hatch out into fuzzy little chicks on the 13th of March. There is a wonderful variety of chicks expected to make their appearance including Bantams, Cochin Bantams, Silkie Bantams, Top Hats, Plymouth Rocks, New Hampshire Reds and even a few that are known as Easter Egg Layers! These eggs are being closely observed by children ranging in age from 3 years to adult and are being given the greatest of care to ensure a successful hatch. We will be posting photos of this event on our blog site www.whitewitchwares.multiply.com for anyone who would like to explore the embryology project currently in progress here at White Witch Wares. In addition to this exciting event we have added two Honey Bear Hampsters affectionately named George and Gene along with a brightly colored hampster habitat home for them to our environment. They of course are receiving an array of attention and care as well. We will post a few photos of them on our blog site too so everyone can enjoy viewing them. They are rather cute, affectionate, tiny, furry creatures and they do have wonderful personalities though they seem to never tire of spinning the large wheel around and performing a multitude of curious comical antics. As the month of February draws to a close we here at White Witch Wares hope that all your New Year dreams and wishes are coming full circle for you and that you are attaining any goals you set for yourself with the onset of the new year. We like to keep in mind that it isn't necessary to wait for a new year when reaching for the stars and enhancing ones life, for each day is a fresh new start and a brand new beginning in which all things are possible and nothing is impossible if one only will allow their inner most thoughts, feelings and strength to emerge. Have a wonderful winter break and keep a look out for spring.
Thank you for your continued patronage and support, Staff at White Witch Wares
